Planting the Seed for Homeownership This Holiday Season

As we head into the holiday week, many buyers assume this is a slow season for real estate—but the truth is, this is one of the best times to get your homeownership journey started. With less competition, motivated sellers, and lenders ready to help, November can be a powerful month to take the next step.

Right now, mortgage rates continue to show gradual improvement compared to the highs we saw earlier in the year. Buyers who were on the sidelines are slowly returning, and we’re starting to see more opportunities for families who want to lock in a better payment. Even a small rate improvement can make a big difference in affordability.

As a local Chico-based mortgage advisor serving all of California, my focus is helping you create a customized plan—whether you’re ready to buy now or want to prepare for early 2026. Think of it like gardening: when you plant the seed early, the results grow stronger with time.

Whether you’re a first-time buyer, refinancing, or planning for the new year, let’s talk through your goals. I’m bilingual (English & Spanish), LGBTQ+ friendly, and here to guide you with care and clarity every step of the way.

👉 If you know someone thinking about buying soon, send them my way. I’d love to help them plant the seed for homeownership.

📲 Message me anytime.
